Atelier de Fromage Karuizawa Pizzeria

Had the signature blue cheese fondue and 2 large pizzas( 1 is the karuizawa style pizza and the other I can't remember, something with rockets). If you like blue cheese, you will love the fondue. The pizzas are like those wooden oven style( Italian style pizza). The karuizawa style pizza has a pretty unique taste and one of its toppings is silverfish. Oh, the large pizza is 32cm each on diameter.

It is quite lined up, but if you make a reservation it is okay ^ _ ^I ordered a lunch setEach dish was delicious with plenty of volume!I was surprised that it was better than the menu photoIt was a wide seat, the shop was not noisy,The clerks are all smiles and feel good! !I was able to come to the store with confidence because I felt very good when I made a reservation call

The whole experience was great, the food, the staff and the cozy feeling, and of course, the Cheese 🧀🧀. You definitely get what you pay for.

Excellent blue cheese fondue! I personally thought fondue was better than pizza. I want to eat it again. The raw ham salad was also fresh and had a great volume, so it was delicious. Recommended!

I booked a lunch. This year, your dog will be with you. The Karuizawa departure area garden store seems to be fine.We had Karuizawa lunch set. I bought Kaman blue cheese from Karuizawa Atelier Fromage cheese salad and bought it at a store on the way home. Pizza is half and half of Margherita and Quattro Formaggi. Cheese shop pizza does not disappoint. The dough is thin and crispy to enjoy cheese. The daily lunch pasta was cheese cream and ham pasta. The appearance was carbonara, but the cheese sauce and ham were not too much and I enjoyed it to the end.It ’s closed on Wednesday, so if you leave the lunch cake to you, thank you for assorting the remaining cake. Was it a service, especially because it was raining?We are half satisfied with the baked cheesecake and mascarpone cream puff.

Pizzas were good and quick. Very thin crust is what this restaurant specializes in, so be aware.

Very popular so expect to wait in line if you don’t have a reservation. My suggestion is to keep with the cheese dishes as this is what they are known for. The blue cheese fondue itself was close to perfection but the sides were average, particularly the potatoes were very undercooked unfortunately. The 4 cheese pizza was light and delicious with thin crispy crust.

Atelier Du Fromage is a Karuizawa landmark. There are always lines to get in, but especially on weekends, so make sure to visit on a weekday. The owner is a renowned cheese maker based in Nagano and has won numerous international awards. The cheese fondue is particularly well done and highly recommended.

Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had! This place is an icon of Karuizawa. The truffle cheese fondue was particularly impressive. Amazing flavors. The portions are on the large side for Japanese standards as well. Highly recommended.

Good food in cozy atmosphere, although food quality was uneven. Pizza and cheese curry were both tasty (the pizza stood out more for the cheese than for the crust, which was very average), but the desserts were a real let down.

Really enjoyed this place! There was a wait to get, about 15mins and we arrived around opening time, so I'd suggest getting there early/on time. Once we ordered our food, the fondue was quick to arrive and very tasty! Pizza was yum as well.

If you like thin crust, this is the place for you!!! Paper thin crust emphasizes the high quality cheese and toppings they use here. I enjoyed my meal thoroughly!

[Dedicated cheese shop]5 minutes walk from Karuizawa station.A shop specializing in cheese. Drinks are bottled and wine starts from the late 2000s. Surprisingly cheap. There are also other cool drinks such as malon latte. Coffee is also delicious.Popular is pizza! And cheese fondue!But I really want to eat cheese salad! Lots of different cheeses, lots of chunks. I have never seen a salad with so much cheese.It is 17:00 at night, but there are already people in front of the store. The name book has several names. There was also an indication of waiting time, and there were many people who parked their cars and wrote their names somewhere.

Great Pizzas! We came in on a Friday night just as they were closing but they kindly let us in anyways. Has a nice cozy atmosphere and is just a short walk from the station
